spring has sprung!

ok... not quite, but it sure feels like it already!  Can't believe this unseasonably warm, gorgeous weather we've been having here in good ole' Indiana.  Typically, we might still have a foot of snow on the ground.  This almost reminds me of the beautiful spring weather in Arizona, minus the orange blossoms (oh, how I miss the orange blossoms, wish I could bottle that up!)

We've been soaking up as much of this weather as we can while it lasts... Friday night, after D went down for the night, P and I ran (literally) out of the house for girls night out.  We spent about 30 minutes outside running around and taking pictures before we dashed to one of our favorite restaraunts for dinner.  She was feeling sprightly and ordered something new... a cheese pizza.  Now you may not think that is a big deal, but it is for our little chicken strips or butter noodles ONLY little girl.  She proclaimed it the best pizza ever, and vowed to try something new again next time.  That's my girl!

Today we met my good friend and her little boy (D and he were born only 5 days apart) at the neighborhood park for a picnic and had a blast soaking up some sun.  P also got to try out her brand new fairy kite (first time ever flying a kite) and named it 'Fairytopia'- nod to her recent obsession with Barbie movies, in case you're not familiar :)

Friday night, girls night out!

P's best pizza ever.

 St. Patty's Day with cousins.

This is what most of St. Patty's Day was like.
